 Scott McIntyre, RA
Residential design and homebuilding run in Scott McIntyre's blood. As a teenager, Scott got his first hands-on experience in construction, working summers and part-time in his father's homebuilding company. Learning the "nuts and bolts" of residential construction has given Scott the toolset necessary for communicating with builders and understanding their needs. This insight also enhances his relationships with homeowners, allowing him to advise them at a more practical level about some of the design ideas they're considering.
Scott's tenure with McIntyre Capron began over twenty years ago, dating nearly to the firm's inception. As one of its original employees, Scott has grown with the firm and learned the management acumen necessary to run a challenging, multi-project, fifteen-person firm. Scott currently manages a wide variety of projects, including ongoing relationships with several noteworthy builders including C.F. Holloway III & Company, Michael Cutler Builders and Wayne Geftman & Associates. Scott holds a Bachelor's of Architecture degree from Temple University and is registered in Delaware, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. |
